2021 ഏപ്രില് അവസാന വാരം മതനിന്ദ (blasphemy) ആരോപിക്കപെട്ട് യു.എ.ഇ പോലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയായി എന്നു കരുതപ്പെടുന്ന അബ്ദുള് കാദര് പുതിയങ്ങാടി എന്ന മലയാളിയെ കുറിച്ച് യു.എ.ഇ ഭരണകേന്ദ്രങ്ങളില് നിന്നും ഇനിയും കൃത്യമായ വിവരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഇസ്ലാമിക ഹദീസ് സാഹിത്യം മലയാളത്തിലാക്കി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതാണ് മതനിന്ദയായി വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കപെട്ടത് (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmKIs19ySPA). അറസ്റ്റിലായി, നടപടികള്‍ പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നു എന്ന വിവരം അനൗദ്യോഗികമായി ലഭ്യമാണെങ്കിലും അറസ്റ്റ് രേഖപെടുത്തുകയോ കോടതിയില്‍ ഹാജരാക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.
കാദറിന് ഒപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന കുടുംബം നാട്ടില്‍ തിരിച്ചെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നറിയുന്നു. കഴിഞ്ഞ മൂന്നാഴ്ചയായി ഖാദറിനെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള വ്യക്തമായ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്തുവിടാത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഈ വിഷയത്തില്‍ അടിയന്തരമായി ഇടപെട്ട് കാദറിന് നീതി ലഭ്യമാക്കണമെന്ന് ഇന്ത്യ സര്‍ക്കാരിനോടും യു.എ.ഇയിലെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ എംബസി, കോണ്‍സുലേറ്റ് തുടങ്ങിയ ഏജന്‍സികളോടും അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഇ-മെയില്‍ കാംപെയിന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കാദറിന് നീതി ലഭിക്കണമെന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരും സ്വന്തം നിലയില്‍ താഴെക്കാണുന്ന നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ പഠിച്ച് ലിങ്കില്‍ ലഭ്യമായ നിര്‍ദ്ദിഷ്ട നിവേദനം ബന്ധപെട്ട കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഇ-മെയില്‍ വഴി അയക്കണമെന്ന് അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

It has been almost three weeks that our friend Mr. Abdul Kader Puthiyangady was arrested by Dubai Police on charges of Blasphemy, upon the complaints filed by unscrupulous Malayali Islamist factions and their allies in UAE.
Now it is time for us to move ahead and urge our government machinery which is bound to uphold universal human rights and constitutional morality to press for freeing Abdul Kader Puthiyangady and to give a clear message to these conservative, fundamentalist, and terrorist Islamic elements in our country, by reinstating liberty and freedom of expression of views.
So, we request you all to take this as a serious call and please join us in this email campaign.
What to do in this campaign?
You have to send two emails, the first one to the Prime Minister (PMO) and the second to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
