Heavy rains are continuing in Malabar. The water level rose in Chaliyar and Iruvazhanjipuzha. People residing in parts of Thiruvambadi and Karasseri have asked to be on high alert. Hilly areas are at risk of landslides.
Four including two children have died in Wayanad and Malappuram. There were extensive damages in the heavy rains and wind. There were landslides in Mattara forests in Kannur. Manikadavu and Mattara bridges are under water.
